The overseas signings are continuing to roll in as Amanda-Jade Wellington returns to Dream11 Super Smash for the first time in two summers.
The Aussie leg-spinner last played for Northern Brave in 2022/23, taking six wickets in five appearances, and contributing 65 runs - but that hardly encapsulates her all-round value as a seasoned and canny T20 gamechanger.
"Wello" has also played for the Otago Sparks in the past as well as franchise teams around the world, and is familiar with Kiwi conditions.
She'll add extra depth to the Brave's slow-bowling department, now that former captain Eimear Richardson has headed back to Ireland.

Wellington rejoins the team with an impressive 260 T20 matches behind her from her overall career, including eight T20is (alongside a Test and ODI caps) for Australia a few years back.
The 27-year-old is the latest signing to announce their renewed participation in the forthcoming Dream11 Super Smash, after England's Kirstie Gordon linked back up with the Otago Sparks.
Wellington reresented the Adelaide Strikers again in the recent WBBL across the Tasman this season, striking at 180.95 with the bat and taking eight wickets in nine games.
She has more than 300 T20 wickets from her overall career, including a best of 5/8 for the Strikers in 2021/22.
Northern Brave kicks off the 2024/25 campaign at home in Hamilton on Boxing Day, hosting the Auckland Hearts and Aces from 2.10PM at Seddon Park.
